The new decade welcomes several new players to the team and should serve well to bolster an ageing but enthusiastic Blazers roster for the 2019/20 schedule. Former Blazers netminder Dan King returns from his forage into senior league hockey, along with seasoned players such as Jamie Pyewell and Dan Stanton (Sheff Sens).
Team captain Dave Flett explained “The depth of experience these new players bring to the team will be critical as we enter the Bethany’s legacy challenge cup this year and look to improve last year’s disappointing result in this competition”.
